    Big White boasts a longer than average ski season running from mid-November
    to mid-April. This is due to the 750 cm (300 inches) of snow received annually.

    With four high-speed quads and nine lifts, skiers and snowboarders can explore a wide range of terrain, including phenomenal powder bowls, glades and marked trails.

    Big White also has three state of the art snowboard parks and half-pipes
    built to competition standards. There are also 25 km(15.5 miles) of cross-country trails. The Bullet high-speed quad and Plaza quad chairs access night skiing and riding five nights a week. 38 acres are illuminated for night skiing and riding.

    Big White Ski Resort has one of the largest International Ski Schools with
    programs designed for all ages and abilities. Snowhosts provide daily complimentary ski tours of the mountain for those wishing a guided adventure.

    The on mountain accommodation is complimented by 17 bars and restaurants
    offering everything from international cuisine, award winning wines, to bar
    snacks and take out pizza.

    The TELUS Park is serviced by the TELUS Chair, an 1,800-foot long, 500 vertical foot double chair that takes you to the top of the park and lets you watch all the action along the way.

     

    The super pipe is groomed by one of the industries best pipe shaping machines: a Zaugg Pipe Monster. This world-class pipe groomer has been used at the X-Games and the Vans Triple Crown of Snowboarding to turn out the best super pipes in the world.

     

    TELUS Park will become an important venue for BC Provincial and Canadian team riders — or anyone else pursuing their future competition dreams. This is the perfect site for both recreational and world-class competitions, as well as just being a great place to hang out and session with your friends.

     

    Big White’s centralized location makes it the perfect choice for riders and skiers to come and hone their skills. It’s an affordable, self-contained, family-focused resort that allows top riders and skiers to train and compete in a distraction-free environment.

    Telus Park:

    • In the terrain park, you can find features for all abilities these features are marked Small, Medium, Large and X-Large so that everyone can learn at their own pace.
    • TELUS Park has a standard sized halfpipe with 12-foot transitional walls, 400-feet in length.
    • A 500-foot long Super Pipe with 17-foot transitional walls that meets FIS World Cup and X Games standards.
    • A SnowCross course made of big banked turns and rollers that everyone in the family can enjoy.
    • TELUS Park is designed around the concept of progressive riding development. This allows everyone to find terrain suitable for their own level of riding and gives the skiers and riders a chance to progress with confidence as they work their way up on the features.
