Revelstoke Mountiain Resort is located on Mount mackenzie 6 kilometers southeast of downtown Revelstoke. The mountian is buzzing with the installation of an 8-person Leitner-Poma gondola and high-speed detachable chair, scheduled for openning in 2007. When the lifts start turning, boarders will enjoy 5000-vertical-foot descents, with access to newly cut and gladed mountian terrain for all levels of boarders.  With the anticipated completion of additional gondolas and chairlifts next summer, Revelstoke Mountian Resort will boast North America's longest vertical descent with 6000 feet of lift-serviced boarder terrain.

 

With the acquisition of Selkirk Tangiers Helicopter Skiing and CAT Powder Skiing, Revelstoke Mountian Resort will be a one-of-a-kind ski experience with the choice of helicopter, snowcat or lift skiing every day from the base of the resort. Mountain biking, hiking, golfing and fly-fishing are just some of the highlights of the summer months in this recreational paradise.
